Fairphone heeft tijdens de uitreiking van de GLOMO Awards op de voorlaatste avond van het Mobile World Congress in Barcelona de Award gewonnen voor de ‘Best Mobile Innovation for Climate Action’. Fairphone was genomineerd in twee categorieën.
De Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards, die voor de 29e keer werden uitgereikt, zijn de meest prestigieuze onderscheiding in de sector en worden onafhankelijk beoordeeld door meer dan 220 van de meest prominente materiedeskundigen uit de sector. De inzendingen van dit jaar legden de lat hoog en maakten de beslissingen van de jury ongelooflijk moeilijk.
Broadforward was voor de achtste keer genomineerd in de categorie ‘Best Network Software Breakthrough’, maar hier ging de winst naar Huawei met een RAN Digital Twin project.
